[Shoo Fly]

Hell Yeah Man

This was cool man. You sure know your movements. the character animations were very well done. the backgrounds were creative especially the upsidedown tilt illusion you did with one of the backgrounds. you have a good since of timing and it definitly shows that you know how to animate. I like the fact that you had secondary action on everything thats always a plus. handheld camara was cool...OVERALL really good project. And you certainly understand us true animators making your flash able to scroll through frame by frame. How did you do that by the way cause I would like to do it for mine. Great stuff man cant wait till you make another.

I like it. Just to help you out in future animations, when you animate a motion try animating the positions closer for a few frames, then spred them apart more and then closer again. A simple technique but your animations will come out having a more natural movment to them. Keep going.

Hey, thanks a lot for the advice. I will definitely take that into account (the different zoom shots, etc.)... I wanted to make it like a doodle, however, and I don't think zooming would have worked well until the end, where the guy takes the giant straw to his mouth.

i like it

very well executed. this particualar song has had dozens of animations made to it, both professional and amature. the animation was nice and funny. your color schemes and backgrounds work well with each other. This was deffinitly well thought out and done. good job.

I see potential...

Yeah sounds like an interesting concept. I would like to see this trailer again in better quality than it is now. and fix the sound. try and balance the music out with the voice over. it kinda sounds funny and you cant make out what the narrator is saying most of the time. Maybe thats why people think its funny and should be taken out. I'm sure after you fix everything up it'll be better. can't wait to see it. Who did the voice anyway? who ever did maybe they should redo it and try and sound better. sounds like he was choking on his words at some parts. like it hurt to talk like that. Its ok non the less i know its hard doing voices like that. good job though and keep going.

eh...

You cant cut them out way better in photoshop with transparency with .png files. and you cant also align all the images in photoshop so that when you import them into flash. switching images will be no problem because they are already put in the position they are suposed to be in. but thats just my personal preference. it comes out more cleaner that way.

I liked it

Your story structure is what kept me watching it. the animation was ok, and you had good chorography with the fighting. you did kinda trick me at the end. I was so expecting that when the screen blacked out after the gunfire, mario suddenly came to save the day and shot goomba before goomba shot peach. also it probably would have been more of a shocker if you actually showed the gory finish. you have a talent you just need to work at it more. not many people on new grounds can make a flash cartoon as long as yours and still keep people interest, good job.

This review pertains to everything you have done and this. Its good to see professional animators submit things. Your voice acting or who ever you have voice act does is on point. the voices matches all of your characters personality. and the quality is top notch. I'm pretty sure you record your stuff in a studio. or you just have a professional microphone. The animation itself is very fluid. hand drawn animation is always the way to go. I asume you animate it on paper and then scan it in. I really like the character designs...luigi looking and all. Backgrounds well done cnad colored nicely. How many frames per second do you animate?

Your are definitly an insperation to me being a fellow soon to be professional animator. I am going to school for animation and i will soon be posting top notch stuff also so look for me. at least i know there are some good animators on newgrounds. cant wait to see more.

what i enjoyed the most was the recreation of all of the cg effect from the movie. seeing them in flash just makes me laugh. done really well though. even though you just copied scene for scene i give you much credit for pulling it off the right way instead of a half assed. i like it.
