enjoying your 15 minutes of fame?

i seen this video a long time ago. i think when it was first posted. I still can beleive that this made it to tv...god damn you. and you wasnt even trying. I saw it on CNN a weak or two ago and all i could say is "you've got to be fucking kidding me" Now everyone i know is singing this song and i cant get it out of my fucking head. How the hell did it make it to tv? an with all the reviews you've got, i dout you'll see this review. Congrats another spofff project made it to the public. i need to ask this. how many people stoped you in the streets and asked you to do the numa dance. you bastard..lol ohwell enjoy. I was amusing when i first saw it but i never reviewed it, so now i give to you my review to add to your freakin 1 mill + reviews....eh.

Love it

I love the chrographed flash fights like this. they always look really cool. my i ask what frame rate did you animate this, cause it looked really smooth. cant wait for the next

Mottis responds:

Thanks.
Hehheh... I know this is gonna be hard to believe, but I used only 16 fps and I animate all frame by frame exept for the fade-in and -outs and some other extra stuff...

very nice

myself personally im a sucker for love stories so you go me there. nice animation overall. great story too. my favorite shot was at the end, zooming out from the window. that is a common shot in most live action films, but to see it done in flash makes it more appreciative. i love it...you diserve the place you got.

hmmmmmm......

I dont know i have mixed feelings about this. you definitly need to get beter voice actors. that alone pulls the viewer away from the animation and ruins the real world feel of it . i didnt feel those voice belonged to those characters. they didnt have enough feeling in the way they were talking. and dont be afraid of screaming into the mic. a nice and loud scream will definitly give a realism to someone that has been poked in the balls with a long needle.

the art style was cool seemed almost flawless. I see a lot of reference humor from the clasic Ren & Stimpy cartoons. that must have been you inspiration cause it has the same feel and editing of a R&S cartoon.

You have a good ability keep it up.

ONE DAY.....cool

Im a Traditional animator myself. i havent done anything in flash yet but im planning to start submitting to NG soon. you have really good sync. and for a quick 3 hour project that was pretty damn good. you have to have planned out this sequence before you actually started messing around in flash. you have a good feel for dynamics..i like. What band was that? do you listen to Symphony X, or iron savyor cause that song you played, in fact most of the songs you use in you flash animations sound like them. what bands you you use in your flash cartoons?

Fuck man....nice

i love the art work. the scenes were well drawn out and done really nice. of course the animated fight scene, although short, pulled me into your film. the giberish dialouge works in a way. but the sound effect i loved the most. i felt every impact in your animation from the punch in the face to the spikes hitting the walls. very nicely done. you definitely have the quality. now let just hope the story is just as good. cause you can have a sick ass animation, but a crappy ass story. and that just ruins the whole project. keep up the good work.

HELL YEAH!!!

You have really good cinimatography skills. the whole movie was ausome. You do need to work on making sure your dialouge isnt drowned out by SFX and music but other than that pretty sick man. im a big fan of zooming landscapes and free camara movments. and to do that in flash..........kudos to you. how many layers was that anyway? it must have been hell getting everything to work right. good job...I like it a lot....Want more.

BenSpurgin responds:

346 layers!

REALLY COOL

BUT WAY TOO SHORT. but i loved the art work. its wierd though i seen a 3d animation done with similar monsters doing the same thing. except breaking through the building that was ausome. i think you shouldnt let this art work go to waste a make a story line with these monsters in it. that'll be cool

excellent

i loved that. i want more. nice touch with all the extra frame be frame animation you did in the back ground. 10's across the board. the existence of reality is clear to me now because of you...lol

BaconMask responds:

Thank you for those kind words! It's the little things like the guy and his son eating pizza in the background and the little ants crawling into the chicken bucket (I even animated the little legs) that made this one so tough.

funny

although you're kinda late on making a parody of lethal weapon that was actually pretty funny, and the story wasnt half bad, ended with a good climax. hope to see some progression in animation in part 2
